RTX 5090 Prices in UK Skyrocket Past Double Nvidia MSRP
Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5090 has reached an unprecedented high in the UK market, with prices exceeding double Nvidia's official MSRP. The cheapest available option now costs £3,939.98, which is 119% higher than Nvidia's listed price of £1,799.
This development comes as Asus lists the RTX 5090 at £4,340 for its Non-OC Edition and £4,440 for its OC Edition, both of which are more than 140% above Nvidia's MSRP. The high prices have rendered the RTX 5090 unappealing to gamers seeking value for money.
The excessive pricing is attributed to the GPU's utility in AI and workstation applications, as well as a low supply of memory and high demand. This situation makes it unlikely that prices will decrease anytime soon.
