Russian Drones Strike Coca-Cola Plant Near Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy reported that Russian drones struck and damaged a Coca-Cola plant located outside of Kyiv, Ukraine's capital. The attack occurred on Thursday near the town of Brovary, east of the city.

Zelenskiy described the incident in his nightly video address, stating that the Russians had targeted 'such an enemy' as Coca-Cola by setting it ablaze with their Shaheds, Iranian-designed drones. He also suggested that this action was a clear signal to America, implying that Russia is aware of the plant's American connections.

The Reuters Television footage showed firefighting crews arriving at the scene and smoke rising above the plant and nearby fields. Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, confirmed that the staff were uninjured but emphasized the company's priority on ensuring the safety and well-being of people.
