Russia's Drone Strike Hits Kyiv Region Amid Ongoing Conflict
Russian forces launched an attack on the Kyiv region using new 'Geran-5' strike drones on September 3. The attack triggered air raid alerts in Kyiv for the second time that day.
The Brovary district was among those hit, with a Coca-Cola plant reportedly damaged. Local media reports also mentioned casualties near Slavutych, where people were injured by drone debris and cars parked on the road were damaged.
In addition to the Kyiv region attack, another Russian assault occurred in the city on August 27, damaging a four-story residential building in the Podilskyi district. As a result of this elevated air threat, Kyiv City Express train service has been temporarily suspended.
