Ryder Cup Quartet Confirmed for Amgen Irish Open in Doonbeg
The Irish Open in Doonbeg has announced its quartet of Ryder Cup players who will be competing next month, including Patrick Reed, Robert MacIntyre, Francesco Molinari, and Sepp Straka. The four golfers will join a strong field that includes defending champion Rory McIlroy, two-time Major Champion Jon Rahm, and former Amgen Irish Open winners Shane Lowry and Pádraig Harrington.
Reed, the 2018 Masters Tournament champion, is leading the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World after a successful 2026 season that includes two victories and several top-ten results. MacIntyre, who was a key member of Europe's victorious Ryder Cup teams in Rome in 2023 and New York in 2025, is currently ranked World Number 17.
The Amgen Irish Open takes place from September 10-13 at Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, with general admission tickets available for the Wednesday Pro-Am and Rounds One and Two on Thursday and Friday. Weekend tickets have already sold out.
