Ryu Hae-ran Ranks Seventh in Major Prize Money Earnings
Golfer Ryu Hae-ran ranked seventh among all golfers in major championship prize money earnings this year, according to Front Office Sports. She earned a total of $3,716,438 from majors, trailing only Rory McIlroy's $5,335,556 and Wyndham Clark's $4,752,000.
Ryu won back-to-back majors at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship and Amundi Evian Championship, collecting $1.95 million and $1.4 million respectively. She missed the US Women's Open due to injury but earned $119,311 for a tie for 12th at the Chevron Championship.
Nelly Korda ranked first among LPGA players in major championship prize money earnings with $4,590,836. She won the Chevron Championship and US Women's Open, earning $1.35 million and $2.5 million respectively. Korda also tied for eighth at the Amundi Evian Championship and tied for fourth at the AIG Women's Open.
