Salas Returns to Winner's Circle, Secures Playoff Spot
Vicente Salas made his return to the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series winner's circle at Richmond Raceway, scoring his first win of the 2026 season and sixth of his career in his 94th start.
Salas led every lap but three in the eighth race of the season, holding off Quentin Warman and Steven Wilson in eNASCAR Overtime to secure his place as one of the Playoff contenders.
The win puts Salas tied for 11th on the all-time wins list with Brad Davies, Jimmy Mullis, and Garrett Lowe. He now joins Bobby Zalenski (ERA eSports Team), Parker White (Williams F1 Team Gaming), Garrett Lowe (BS+COMPETITION), and Tucker Minter (William Byron eSports) as those locked-in via wins or points for the 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series Playoffs.
With only four spots remaining, drivers such as Connor Yeroschak (Letarte eSports), Shawn Conklin (RFK Racing), Wyatt Tinsley (Kansas City Pioneers), and Casey Kirwan (Kansas City Pioneers) will need to deliver strong performances at the final race of the Regular Season in two weeks' time.
