Salas Wins Sixth Career eNASCAR Championship Series Victory
Vicente Salas, a driver for Kanaan Esports, secured his sixth career win in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series at Richmond Raceway. This victory came after five years of improvement since his first win on April 13th, 2021. In the eighth race of the 2026 season, Salas led every lap but three and was tied for 11th on the all-time wins list.
Salas' path to victory began with a pole position secured through a Heat win, where he set the fastest lap in Qualifying. He then dominated the Main race, leading 69 of the 72 laps before securing his first win of the season in eNASCAR Overtime.
Salas expressed relief and gratitude after the race, acknowledging that the restart zone at Richmond is 'peculiar' and requires precise timing. His win further solidified his position in the championship standings, as he joined other Playoff lock contenders such as Steven Wilson, Bobby Zalenski, Parker White, Garrett Lowe, and Tucker Minter.
