Salesforce Acquisition Talks Derail Listen Labs Funding Round

Listen Labs, a voice AI market research startup founded in 2023 by Florian Jüngermann and Alfred Wahlforss, has abandoned its planned $125 million Series C funding round at a valuation of $1.5 billion.

The term sheet was led by Menlo Ventures but ultimately fell through, according to people familiar with the matter.

This collapse appears linked to acquisition talks between Listen Labs and Salesforce, which have reportedly been discussing a deal worth around $2 billion.

Listen Labs uses AI to conduct customer interviews via audio or video and compiles the results into research reports, aiming to reduce the time and cost of traditional market research.
