Salesforce and Nvidia Unveil Koa: AI-Powered CRM Reasoning Model
Salesforce and Nvidia have joined forces to introduce Koa, a CRM-focused AI reasoning model. Announced at Salesforce's annual Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, Koa was built using Nvidia Nemotron and is designed to 'supercharge' both human sales professionals and agents.
According to Rohan Kumar, president and chief platform and engineering officer at Salesforce, the model will help agents reason through complex, multi-step workflows. He described it as a 'game changer' for staff internally, particularly in scenarios where employees are trying to figure out the next best step in closing a sale.
Koa was built using entirely synthetic scenarios that reflect typical reasoning, tool use, and decision-making processes used across decades' worth of CRM workflows. The model has already been deployed inside Salesforce and is being piloted by customers including Formula 1, Xero, Baxter Credit Union, and UChicago Medicine.
