Salesforce Beats Q2 Earnings Estimates, Raises Fiscal 2027 Revenue Outlook
During its Q2 earnings call, Salesforce emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) is expanding platform value rather than replacing enterprise software. The company cited stronger bookings, low attrition rates, and rising AI consumption as evidence of this trend.
Salesforce's revenue for the quarter was $11.35 billion, beating the consensus estimate of $11.32 billion. Non-GAAP earnings were $5.9, ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3.27. The company also raised its fiscal 2027 revenue outlook to $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion.
Management tied AI-led reacceleration to a stronger performance in bookings and low attrition rates. Net new annual order value growth was the strongest in four years, with contract terms improving across segments. Salesforce expects third-quarter cRPO growth of about 14% in constant currency.
The company also highlighted its AI offerings, including Agentforce ARR above $1.5 billion. Accounts with agents in production rose 70% sequentially, with customers generating 3.2 billion Agentic Work Units in the quarter, up 97% sequentially.
