Salesforce Crushes Q2 Earnings with 87% Net Income Growth
Salesforce's second-quarter earnings have beaten expectations with net income soaring by 87% year-over-year. The company reported revenue of $11.35 billion, a 11% increase from last year, while subscription and support revenue rose 12% to $10.82 billion. The significant portion of the earnings growth came from Salesforce's investment portfolio, which recorded $2.61 billion in net gains on strategic investments during the quarter.
Agentforce and Data 360 annual recurring revenue reached nearly $3.9 billion, a staggering increase of over 210% year-over-year. Agentforce ARR exceeded $1.5 billion, representing growth of more than 240%. Salesforce's AI agents also saw accelerated usage, delivering 3.2 billion Agentic Work Units during the quarter.
Salesforce raised its fiscal 2027 revenue outlook to $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion, a 11% to 12% growth expectation. The company expects revenue of $11.42 billion to $11.5 billion in the third quarter and current remaining performance obligation growth of approximately 14%. Salesforce's Chair and CEO Marc Benioff stated that AI is delivering value across every layer of their platform.
