Salesforce Cuts 59 Jobs in Seattle and Bellevue
Salesforce, a major customer relationship management platform based in San Francisco, is cutting 59 jobs at its Seattle and Bellevue locations. The layoffs will take place on October 5th, with affected employees being let go permanently.
The company has two worksites in the area: one at 929 108th Ave. NE in Bellevue and another at 744 N. 34th Street in Seattle. While some positions will be eliminated, there is no indication that these locations will close entirely.
A range of roles will be affected, including software engineers, marketing professionals, product managers, and technical support staff. This news comes as part of a larger trend of layoffs across the region, with major companies like Zillow and Google also announcing job cuts in recent days.
