Salesforce Ditches 'Agentforce' Brand Ahead of Dreamforce

Salesforce has made significant changes to its product names ahead of its annual customer conference Dreamforce. The company, led by CEO Marc Benioff, had positioned Agentforce as central to its sales and marketing strategy since launching it in late 2024.

However, the term 'Agentforce' is being dropped from some key product names on the Salesforce website. This change affects around 20 products that were rebranded with the Agentforce name last year, including Sales Cloud, which has now been changed back to its original name.

The decision to remove the Agentforce label comes despite Agentforce showing strong growth since its launch. The product's annualised revenue exceeded $1.5 billion in the quarter ended July, a significant increase of over 240% from the same period last year.
