Salesforce Earnings Report: Will Q2 Results Validate Sustainable Growth?
Salesforce is set to release its fiscal second-quarter 2027 results after the US market close tonight. The company's shares have been volatile, down about 18% year-to-date but rebounding by roughly 20% over the past month as investors repositioned ahead of earnings.
The key question is whether today's results can validate a sustainable growth-and-margin trajectory capable of closing the valuation gap. Wall Street expects Salesforce to report adjusted earnings per share of $3.27-$3.28, compared with $2.91 in the year-ago quarter, implying roughly 12%-13% year-over-year growth.
Investors will also focus on current remaining performance obligations (cRPO), which management previously guided for approximately 13% constant-currency cRPO growth, while the Street expects cRPO to rise by more than 13% to roughly $33.4 billion.
The company's existing fiscal Q2 outlook calls for $11.27-$11.35 billion of revenue and $3.25-$3.27 in non-GAAP EPS, ranges that place consensus near the high end.
