Salesforce Embeds AI Agents in Missionforce National Security Platform
On August 5, 2026, Salesforce announced that its full portfolio of AI agents and apps, Agentforce 360, is now embedded into the Missionforce National Security platform. This move comes after receiving IL5 authorization from the Department of War (DOW), allowing autonomous AI agents to be deployed for various defense logistics, recruit onboarding, and training.
The DOW can now leverage the capabilities of Agentforce 360 to streamline defense operations, alleviate administrative burdens for military families, and transform complex data into real-time command insights. Additionally, new capabilities will drive agility for the Intelligence Community across intelligence missions, logistics, and personnel management.
Agentforce 360 provides a complete mission-ready agentic portfolio that combines real-time data harmonization with autonomous AI action. This enables national security agencies to deploy trusted AI agents across their most sensitive, unclassified missions. The platform is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud, ensuring secure and compliant operations.
Kendall Collins, CEO of Missionforce and Government Cloud at Salesforce, stated, 'Trust is the foundation of every successful mission.' He emphasized that Agentforce 360 IL5 authorization means national security agencies can harness the power of AI without compromising their missions' demands for security.
