Salesforce Expands Agentforce with Seven Job-Ready AI Agents
Salesforce has expanded its Agentforce platform to include seven preconfigured artificial intelligence (AI) agents that can handle various business tasks, including sales, customer service, commerce, employee support, and back-office operations.
The new agents are: Casey for customer service enquiries; Paige for internal workplace support; Carter for guiding online shoppers through product comparisons and purchases; Marshall for managing back-office and supply chain workflows; Piper for engaging prospective buyers across websites and inboxes; Fin for directing customer experience across multiple channels; and Hunter, which is still in pilot, for researching prospects and conducting outreach campaigns.
Each agent has predefined skills, operational actions, and data models that organizations can tailor to their existing business processes. They integrate directly into Customer 360, drawing upon the wealth of enterprise data and established workflows already managed within Salesforce environments.
Salesforce has deployed thousands of customer agents over the past two years, generating 7 billion Agentic Work Units across both Agentforce and Slack to date, including 3.2 billion during the second quarter alone.
