Salesforce Expands Headless 360 Platform for Secure Enterprise AI Agent Capabilities
Salesforce is expanding its Headless 360 platform to provide a secure foundation for enterprise AI agents. The move aims to make trusted business capabilities available wherever AI works, extending beyond traditional applications.
Headless 360 transforms the Salesforce platform into reusable enterprise capabilities that can be securely discovered and used by authorized AI agents. This architectural foundation systematically extends every Salesforce cloud beyond the application, making it easier for organizations to reuse the business capabilities they've already built on the platform.
The new Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, Data 360 capabilities, Slack integrations, developer tools, reusable Skills, and headless experiences across every major cloud make it easier than ever for AI agents to securely discover, understand, and take action across the enterprise. The Headless 360 MCP Server enables agents running in various AI platforms to dynamically discover and invoke Salesforce capabilities in real-time.
Engine is already seeing the impact of this expansion, with its AI support agent, EVA, resolving half of all customer chat interactions without human intervention in just 12 days.
