Salesforce Expands Headless 360 to Business Users
Salesforce has expanded its Headless 360 tooling to include capabilities for business users. The move comes four months after its initial launch, which focused on developers.
The tool is aimed at making it easier for agents to augment practitioners in their day-to-day work by surfacing programmable APIs that capture the value of user workflows, data, identity, security, and more.
Salesforce President and Chief Platform and Engineering Officer Rohan Kumar said, 'The vision really over here is: how do we make it really easy for agents to augment practitioners in their day-to-day work?'
The expanded tooling includes the Headless 360 MCP server, which is currently in open beta. This allows business users to access a range of APIs, including those from Agentforce Coworker, Slackbot integrations, and roughly 100 pre-built skills.
Kumar said that the goal is to 'meet the practitioners wherever they work,' rather than forcing them to use a particular interface or platform. He also emphasized the importance of data governance and security in the new tooling.
