Salesforce Eyes $2B Deal to Acquire AI Research Platform Listen Labs
Salesforce is reportedly in talks to acquire Listen Labs, an AI-powered customer research platform founded by Alfred Wahlforss and Florian Juengermann in 2023. The deal could be worth around $2 billion, although it has not been finalized and may ultimately fall through.
Listen Labs' software automates much of the qualitative research process, which is typically expensive and time-consuming. The company's founders first developed an early version of their platform while building an AI avatar app that went viral at Harvard University.
The acquisition would be part of a wave of AI deals in recent weeks, following Nvidia's purchase of HuggingFace for $12.9 billion and Stripe's acquisition of OpenRouter for $8 billion.
