Salesforce Institutional Investors Make Big Moves
Salesforce's institutional investors continue to adjust their holdings in the company. Integrated Wealth Concepts LLC sold 9,830 shares of Salesforce Inc.'s stock during the second quarter, decreasing its holding by 25.4%. The institutional investor owned 28,899 shares after selling during the period, with a total value of $4,527,000.
This is not an isolated incident. Other hedge funds and institutional investors have been making significant changes to their positions in Salesforce. California State Teachers Retirement System increased its stake by 13,260.5% during the second quarter, acquiring an additional 186,677,290 shares. BlackRock Inc. also bought a new position in Salesforce worth $11,396,844,000.
The company's fundamentals remain strong, with recent earnings beating estimates and revenue increasing 10.8% year over year. However, technical risks and competitive pressures remain, including Microsoft's marketing of an AI-powered migration tool and Lightfield's development of a potential Salesforce alternative.
