Salesforce Integrates Claude AI for Enhanced Sales Performance

Salesforce has announced a collaboration with Anthropic's AI model, Claude, to create Claudeforce. This platform combines Salesforce's customer relations software with Claude's reasoning capabilities.

The result is a plugin called Salesforce in Claude, which comes with 37 prebuilt sales skills. Users can ask Claude to prepare for meetings or assess deal health using live Salesforce data. Claude can also take actions back into Salesforce, subject to permissions and business rules already in place.

Salesforce's chair and CEO, Marc Benioff, says the platform is a dynamic interface that thinks, reasons, and acts. He notes that probabilistic intelligence alone doesn't run a company, and deterministic systems don't reason.
