Salesforce Integrates Slack with AI Capabilities
Salesforce has integrated its Slack platform with AI capabilities to allow users to build interactive content directly within chat conversations.
The feature, called Slackforce Surfaces, enables teams to convert workplace discussions and connected data into dashboards, polls, reports, presentations, and microsites without leaving the app.
This capability is available to customers with Slackbot enabled, including free users, and will receive continuously refreshed data starting in October.
The move gives Salesforce another way to funnel Slack users toward its expanding AI ecosystem, which has seen significant growth with Agentforce and Data 360 annual recurring revenue nearing $3.9 billion, accounting for approximately 8.4% of the company's projected $46.25 billion annual revenue.
