Salesforce Invests $166M in HiBob to Build AI-Powered Organizational Intelligence Layer
HiBob, a London-based company behind the people platform Bob, has secured a $166 million investment led by Salesforce. This funding round values HiBob at $3.2 billion, making it the largest round in the company's history. The investment also deepens HiBob's integration with Slack, which Salesforce owns.
Zehavi, CEO of HiBob, stated that the world of work is transforming rapidly and that AI is changing not just technology but the architecture of organizations. He emphasized that treating AI as primarily a technology story is a mistake and that companies need to focus on building the best organizations for the AI era.
The investment will help HiBob build an 'organizational intelligence' layer, connecting trusted workforce context into systems where work happens across collaboration, CRM, finance, and operations. This will enable employees and managers to make decisions with confidence, grounded in accurate data about roles, skills, teams, and reporting lines.
