Salesforce Invests $300M in Anthropic's Claude AI for Enterprise-Wide Integration
Salesforce has partnered with Anthropic to integrate Claude AI into its ecosystem, branding it 'Claudeforce.'
The deal comes with significant financial backing, with Salesforce planning to invest approximately $300 million in Anthropic tokens over the course of 2026 on top of an existing equity stake valued at roughly $5 billion.
The centerpiece of the partnership is a product called 'Salesforce in Claude,' which ships with 37 prebuilt sales skills that let users interact with live CRM data directly through Claude's interface. Pipeline updates, governed actions, and automated tasks can be executed without toggling back to a traditional Salesforce dashboard.
Claude will also become the default reasoning model powering Salesforce's Agentforce product suite, sitting at the heart of the Atlas Reasoning Engine. Anthropic's models will be woven into Slack's functionality, giving teams AI-assisted capabilities inside the tool where they already spend most of their working hours.
