Salesforce is laying off 59 employees in Seattle and Bellevue as part of a wave of major tech companies cutting jobs in the region. The layoffs will occur at two worksites, one located at 929 108th Ave. NE in Bellevue and another at 744 N. 34th Street in Seattle, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN).

The affected positions include software engineers, marketing roles, product managers, and technical support staff.

Salesforce's layoffs come as part of a broader trend of major companies announcing job cuts in western Washington. This week, Zillow announced it is cutting more than 91 employees in Seattle, while Google laid off 52 workers in its Kirkland, Redmond, and Seattle offices. Visa also conducted layoffs last month, letting go of 70 workers at its downtown Bellevue office.
