Salesforce Pledges $27 Million to Education Initiatives Nationwide

Salesforce has announced $27 million in new education grants, deepening its support for public schools and educators nationwide. The funding includes $18 million directly supporting public school districts in San Francisco, Oakland, New York City, Chicago, and Indianapolis.

This commitment is part of Salesforce's continued focus on education, with an expanded Adopt-a-School program across more than 25 public schools. Employees will work directly with school communities through the revitalized program, while approximately 100 students will attend Dreamforce for hands-on mentoring and workshops.

To date, Salesforce has contributed over $285 million to Bay Area public schools and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. The company's philanthropic model, which guides its giving back efforts, is centered around the concept of '1-1-1,' committing 1% of equity, technology, and employee time to charitable causes.
