Salesforce Pursues $2 Billion Deal for AI-Powered Listen Labs
Salesforce is reportedly in talks to acquire Listen Labs, an AI-powered customer research startup, for approximately $2 billion. This would be a significant markup from the company's previous valuation of $500 million just eight months ago.
Listen Labs has made waves with its AI interviewers that can design studies, recruit participants, and conduct conversations themselves. The company has already run over 1 million interviews and boasts an impressive client list including Microsoft, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, Nestlé, and Sweetgreen.
The startup's rapid growth is evident in its 15x annualized revenue growth. Listen Labs raised $69 million in a Series B round at a $500 million valuation in January 2026 but opted out of a potential $125 million Series C to explore the acquisition talks with Salesforce.
