Salesforce Sees Re-Acceleration Ahead Amid Strong Q2 Bookings
Salesforce presented an upbeat outlook at the Deutsche Bank 2026 Technology Conference, citing stronger bookings and rising adoption of its AI products. The company is guiding for a second-half re-acceleration, with key operating metrics showing broad strength across recent quarters.
Q2 bookings exceeded expectations 'by a long shot,' according to Deputy Chief Financial Officer Mike Spencer, who emphasized that the business had focused on executing its plan laid out at Investor Day a year ago. The company pointed to stronger contract recurring product obligations (CRPO) and net new annual overwritten value (AOV) as indicators of momentum.
Salesforce reached $1.5 billion in annual recurring revenue with Agentforce, while Data 360 and related products approached $3.9 billion in ARR. Slack revenue has grown at double-digit rates for about five to six straight quarters, driven by the success of Slackbot powered by Anthropic's Claude.
