Salesforce shares dropped by 2.6% to $196.21 on Friday, August 14, 2026, following a 4.2% increase the previous day.

The decline wiped out about 64% of Thursday's $8.04 gain sparked by J.P. Morgan's upbeat initiation and a fresh $250 price target for December 2027.

J.P. Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee assigned an Overweight rating to Salesforce, stating that concerns about AI disruption are 'overblown,' but investors soon shifted focus back to concerns over execution and the company's organic growth.
