Salesforce Shares Soar on Strong Q2 Results and Increased Guidance
Salesforce's shares surged by 22.6% on August 27 after the company reported strong Q2 results and increased its full-year guidance.
The growth was driven by the success of Agentforce, an AI agent platform that saw a 240% increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) to $1.5 billion.
Data 360, which helps customers unify their data into a single source, also saw strong growth, with ARR tripling to $2.4 billion.
The company's Slack platform has become one of its most important assets, with Slackbot being its fastest-adopted AI product, seeing 150% sequential growth to 1 million active users after launching just five months ago.
