Salesforce Slashes Jobs Amid AI Push

Salesforce, a tech giant based in San Francisco, is set to lay off dozens of employees at its headquarters. The layoffs are part of the company's fourth round of cuts in less than a year as it leans into artificial intelligence.

The affected jobs include 37 technology and product positions, 34 administrative roles, and three sales and distribution jobs. The layoffs will occur on October 5 at the company's 415 Mission St. office.

Salesforce has reported impressive financial results recently, with $11.1 billion in revenue for the quarter ending April 30. However, the company also incurred $80 million in restructuring expenses.
