Salesforce Soars 22%, But Resistance Looms Ahead
Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) shares are surging after reporting earnings, rising over 22% in value. This rally has some investors and traders considering a possible resistance level of $265.
A closer look at the chart reveals that Salesforce hit this resistance in December and January, only to sell off and decline afterwards.
This led many investors and traders who bought shares during this time to question their decision. Some decided to hold onto their losing positions, while others planned to sell their shares at the same price they paid for them, ensuring they wouldn't lose any money if the stock reached $265.
If a large number of these sell orders are placed, it could create resistance at this level again, potentially leading to a sell-off in the stock. This is because anxious and impatient sellers may become concerned that others will be willing to sell their shares at a lower price, causing them to reduce their offering prices.
