Salesforce Stock Advances on Strong Cloud Demand and Profit Growth
Salesforce stock has seen an advance driven by strong cloud demand and profit growth in its fiscal 2026 first quarter. The company reported revenue of $9.29 billion, up 8% from a year earlier, with operating margin improving to 34.0% from 32.0%. Non-GAAP diluted EPS came in at $2.58, ahead of the prior-year quarter.
The software giant's product mix remains anchored in its cloud platform, particularly Customer 360, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud. These products connect customer relationship management, automation, and data tooling in one enterprise stack.
Salesforce's ability to keep margins high while posting mid-single-digit to high-single-digit revenue growth is a key distinction from pure license models. The company trades on its platform business with recurring revenue, which has a different earnings profile.
