Salesforce Stock Skyrockets on Strong Earnings and Growing AI Demand
Salesforce's stock price has increased by 38% since the end of March after the company reported solid earnings for its second quarter.
The revenue growth is being driven by artificial intelligence (AI), with AI-related revenue about to cross $4 billion, a 210% increase year over year.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said in the press release that 'we're seeing incredible demand for our AI and data products.'
The company's partnership with Anthropic and introduction of Claudeforce is also expected to contribute to its growth, as it enables users to take actions directly from a Claude chatbot window.
Despite the market's fears that Salesforce's software will be displaced by AI, Benioff has been optimistic about the company's future, calling the recent sell-off 'a great buying opportunity.'
