Salesforce Stock Skyrockets on Strong Earnings and Raised Outlook
Salesforce shares surged on Thursday after the company reported second-quarter results that exceeded analysts' expectations and raised its full-year outlook.
The enterprise software maker posted revenue of $11.35 billion, narrowly beating the analyst consensus of $11.33 billion, while adjusted earnings per share of $5.90 doubled year-over-year and topped the $3.28 forecast.
Salesforce also announced an expanded AI partnership with Anthropic to introduce 'Claudeforce' to its customers, combining Anthropic's advanced AI models with Salesforce's software and broad customer base.
JPMorgan analysts said the deal could help ease worries about AI disruption as Salesforce shows willingness to partner with AI leaders rather than competing directly with them.
