Salesforce Stock Surges on Citi Analyst's Higher Price Target
Salesforce's stock rose as much as 4.4% on Tuesday, closing at 3.9% above the day's opening price.
The rally came despite concerns over artificial intelligence (AI) making software companies obsolete, with Salesforce being one of the hardest-hit due to its reliance on AI tools in customer relationship management.
Citi analyst Tyler Radke maintained a neutral rating for Salesforce but raised his price target from $187 to $204, representing 7% upside from Monday's closing price.
The company has shifted to adapt to an AI-powered future by integrating agentic AI tools into its offerings, including the Agentforce platform that helps customers build and deploy autonomous agents in a familiar environment.
