Salesforce Stocks Skyrocket on Q2 Earnings Beat and AI Growth
Salesforce shares surged about 14% in extended trading Wednesday after the company reported strong Q2 earnings and raised its full-year outlook.
The tech giant's revenue rose 11% year over year to $11.35 billion, slightly above Wall Street expectations of around $11.32 billion.
Adjusted earnings reached $5.90 per share, versus an estimate of roughly $3.27, while net income climbed to $3.53 billion, or $4.29 per diluted share, helped by investment gains linked to Anthropic and Agentforce AI revenue surges.
The AI business was the main catalyst for Salesforce's success, with annual recurring revenue from Agentforce and Data 360 reaching nearly $3.9 billion, up more than 210% year over year, while Agentforce ARR alone exceeded $1.5 billion, rising more than 240%.
