Salesforce Tackles Agent Efficiency with Trusted Enterprise AI Harness
Salesforce has unveiled the Trusted Enterprise AI Harness, an infrastructure platform designed to give agents business context from across a company's data and provide IT a way to manage them at scale. This is part of the company's plan to help customers become 'agentic enterprises' where autonomous agents work alongside human employees.
The Trusted Enterprise AI Harness has six components, including pulling context together and helping with decision-making, governance, security, and management. It's an open and composable platform, allowing businesses to pick and choose the layers they need rather than buying the whole package.
According to Rohan Kumar, president and chief platform and engineering officer at Salesforce, customers have been asking how AI will transform their business and make their employees and operations more efficient. He noted that models don't understand a specific organization's context, which is unique to each company.
The Trusted Enterprise AI Harness gives AI an understanding of an organization by bringing together information from Informatica, Salesforce's Data 360, and Tableau. It handles everything manually parsing databases would require, answering questions such as where data lives, if it's clean, and what are the relationships between them.
