Salesforce Taps Former Oracle Exec as New Operating Chief
Salesforce has promoted Miguel Milano to the role of operating chief under CEO Marc Benioff. Milano, a former Oracle executive, rejoined Salesforce in 2023 as Chief Revenue Officer and previously worked for the company in Europe from 2011 to 2020. In his new position, Milano will oversee key business operations at the software giant.
The promotion signals another attempt to widen the leadership ranks at Salesforce, which Benioff co-founded in 1999. In recent years, the company experimented with co-CEOs but ultimately returned to a single CEO model after Keith Block and Bret Taylor left the company.
