Salesforce Unifies AI Capabilities in New Enterprise AI Harness
Salesforce has introduced its Enterprise AI Harness, a formalized amalgamation of its AI harness concepts and infrastructure. The company aims to simplify and unify business processes by connecting six trusted capabilities from its platform toolset collection with a new AI control plane.
The six capabilities include Data 360 for unified customer data platforms, Informatica for data integration and governance, MuleSoft and Agent Fabric for API connectivity and multi-agent orchestration, Tableau for visual business analytics, Agentforce for an agent platform, and Salesforce Guardian for security and compliance. The AI control plane will provide a common place to view, manage, and control agents and AI across the enterprise.
Rohan Kumar, Salesforce president & chief platform and engineering officer, said that the Agentic Enterprise won't be defined by which model a company chooses, but rather by the trusted proprietary context it brings to that intelligence. The Enterprise AI Harness is being built headlessly from the ground up, with capabilities accessible through technologies including MCP, APIs, skills, and plug-ins.
