Salesforce Unleashes Agent-Ready Headless Architecture
Salesforce has expanded its Headless 360 platform to enable agents to execute customer experience tasks without human intervention. This move takes headless CRM beyond simply making Salesforce functionality available outside of its interface, giving agents access to customer data and business logic at runtime.
Headless 360's new MCP-based architecture allows AI agents to discover and act on existing capabilities across enterprise workflows. This approach enables organizations to reuse verified capabilities across different workflows instead of relying on individual prompts. According to Salesforce, more than 100 prebuilt Skills are available for this purpose.
The expansion also adds a broader conversational and development layer, with Slackbot's MCP Client now connected to over 20 partner applications, including Docusign, Notion, and Zoom. Users can ask Slackbot to perform actions across applications while retaining existing permissions and data boundaries.
