Salesforce Unveils AI-Powered CRM Model Koa with NVIDIA
Salesforce has launched Koa, a reasoning model for its Agentforce platform, built on NVIDIA Nemotron technology. The model was developed by post-training NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super with a synthetic dataset based on enterprise knowledge from Salesforce's CRM deployments.
Koa matches or exceeds performance of other models on CRM actions with three times fewer errors in tasks such as updating opportunities and routing cases, according to Salesforce's CRM Benchmark. Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce, said 'With Koa, the knowledge is put inside the model itself.'
The training corpus was built from synthetic scenarios reflecting workflows across 14 industries, including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and travel. No customer data was used to train the model.
Salesforce applied Supervised Fine-Tuning and reinforcement learning with Group Relative Policy Optimization using NVIDIA NeMo RL, NeMo Gym, and NeMo AutoModel for post-training.
