Salesforce Unveils AIforce to Bring AI Agents into Its CRM Platform
Salesforce has launched AIforce, a set of releases that allows its customers to work through Anthropic's Claude or Slack instead of logging on to the platform.
AIforce provides three front ends: Claudeforce, which embeds Salesforce data and actions inside Claude; Slackforce, which pairs Slackbot with a new capability that lets the bot build small applications inside Slack; and Agentforce Coworker for customers that want the same style of working but would rather stay in the Lightning interface.
Patrick Stokes, president of applications and marketing at Salesforce, recalled a comment made by co-founder Parker Harris in March who said 'you may never have to log into Salesforce again.'
Stokes explained that AIforce is not just about exposing APIs, but also providing a bundle of skills or written-down procedures that are shipped inside a plugin along with the model context protocol (MCP) servers.
