Salesforce Unveils B2C Commerce August Update with Enhanced Productivity and Anomaly Detection
Salesforce has released its B2C Commerce August update, which aims to simplify and streamline various aspects of e-commerce operations. The update introduces a new flexible interface for Business Manager, allowing users to customize their workspace with drag-and-drop functionality.
The new interface includes features such as tailored workspaces, customizable navigation, and faster search capabilities. Users can design their own workspaces by dragging and dropping modules, grouping pages into custom sections, and renaming or deleting apps.
Another key feature is real-time anomaly detection, which uses AI to automatically surface unusual patterns in e-commerce operations, such as order or payment failures, error spikes, or failed logins. This tool aims to reduce the time spent manually digging through logs by SRE, security, and support teams.
The update also includes catalog unification across B2C and POS systems, ensuring seamless shopping experiences with accurate and up-to-date product details. Additionally, new features for merchandisers and storefront managers include approaching discount banners, dynamic boost and bury rules, and AI-powered translation and refinement tools.
