Salesforce Unveils Claude Plugin for Faster Sales Workflows

Salesforce has launched a pilot program for its plugin Salesforce in Claude, which allows sales teams to run pipeline reviews and deal health checks without opening a Salesforce screen.

The plugin, set to enter open beta in September 2026, uses Anthropic's AI assistant to complete seller workflows in about 30 seconds, compared to the typical 10,000 clicks required by human sales teams.

Salesforce reported second-quarter revenue of $11.3 billion, with subscription and support revenue reaching $10.8 billion, up 11% year-over-year.
