Salesforce Unveils Enterprise AI Harness Architecture
Salesforce has introduced an enterprise architecture called Enterprise AI Harness designed to give companies centralized control over artificial intelligence agents, models, data access, workflows, and security policies. This system combines technologies from various Salesforce products, including Data 360, Informatica, MuleSoft, Agent Fabric, Tableau, Agentforce, Salesforce Guardian, and Salesforce Platform.
The Enterprise AI Harness consists of six capabilities: context, agency, action, governance, security, and models. Companies can deploy these components together or select individual ones for use with Salesforce and third-party technologies.
According to Rohan Kumar, president and chief platform and engineering officer at Salesforce, the agentic enterprise will be defined by its trusted, proprietary context and ability to turn that context into action securely. He emphasized that models will continue to change, but it's the context that will differentiate an enterprise.
