Salesforce Unveils Enterprise Harness for Comprehensive AI Management
Salesforce has officially launched its Enterprise Harness, a comprehensive platform for managing and governing AI agents. The product was first announced three weeks ago by Rohan Kumar, President and Chief Platform and Engineering Officer, who described it as 'the most comprehensive that I have seen.'
The Enterprise Harness is an extension of the traditional coding harness, which only focuses on the inner ring of a single model doing one job. Instead, the new platform wraps this loop in context, governance, security, and cost accounting, exposing it through headless APIs so any runtime can run inside.
Kumar emphasized that the Enterprise Harness is not just about efficiency, but also about growth and top-line revenue. He said that customers want to 'grow their business' and that Salesforce's platform offers a unique opportunity for this.
