Salesforce Unveils Expanded Headless 360 Framework for AI-Powered Business Applications
Salesforce has expanded its Headless 360 framework across its platform, allowing AI agents to discover and use business functions without custom integrations. The rollout includes new Model Context Protocol servers, Data 360 functions, Slack integrations, developer tools, and over 100 reusable Skills.
The updated framework extends the AI agent framework across core software clouds, including Marketing, Sales, Service, Commerce, MuleSoft, Informatica, and Tableau. This means authorised agents can now discover and invoke Salesforce functions in real-time while inheriting existing permissions, workflows, validation rules, and governance controls.
Data 360 Headless is also being introduced, exposing nearly 200 Data 360 APIs through the open standard Model Context Protocol. Agents will be able to build semantic models, transform data, generate calculated insights, inspect identity graphs, create audience segments, and activate campaigns through natural language prompts.
