Salesforce Unveils Job-Ready AI Agents for Multiple Business Functions
Salesforce announced its portfolio of job-ready Agentforce AI agents designed to work across various business functions, including sales, service, commerce, employee experience, and back office. The company claims to have delivered 7 billion Agentic Work Units (AWUs) across Agentforce and Slack since the start of their collaboration two years ago.
The portfolio includes six job-ready agents: Casey, a help agent for customer service issues; Paige, an IT and HR employee agent; Carter, a shopper agent; Marshall, a supply chain agent; Piper, an inbound pipeline-generation agent; and Fin, a customer agent. Each agent is designed to perform specific tasks with pre-built skills, actions, and data models.
The agents are connected to Customer 360, allowing them to work with existing customer context and business processes in Salesforce. The company also introduced Agent Script, an open-source language for agent behavior that enables customers to combine AI reasoning with deterministic rules for granular control over how agents make decisions and take action.
