Salesforce Unveils New AI Agents for High-Value Work Across Business Functions
Salesforce has announced the expansion of its Agentforce platform with a new portfolio of AI agents designed to handle high-value work across various business functions.
The job-ready agents, which include Casey for customer service, Paige for IT and HR, Carter for commerce, Hunter for outbound sales, Marshall for supply chain management, Piper for inbound lead generation, Fin for customer experience, and Eva for chat inquiries, are connected to Customer 360 and can work with existing business processes.
The new agents come equipped with the skills, actions, and data models required for their respective jobs and can be tailored to each company's specific needs. They also have built-in capabilities such as pursuing goals over time, learning new skills, working together, and continuously improving.
In addition to the job-ready agents, Salesforce has introduced a new long-horizon runtime for Agentforce that enables agents to take on work spanning days and weeks. This is exemplified by Hunter, an outbound sales agent, which can build a plan and adjust it as circumstances change while keeping the seller in control.
The platform also includes capabilities such as Agent Script, AI Skills, Multi-Agent Orchestration, and Agent Optimizer to help companies teach agents how their business works, coordinate them across complex work, and continuously improve their performance.
